The Barlamas family, in
the restaurant in Ambridge since the early 1920's, opened Barlamas'
Luncheonette on February 2, 1952, with the help of their children having
the continuous support of their patrons, they expanded into Barlamas'
restaurant in the early 1960's. After purchasing the present property in
September 1981, the Barlamas family started in enormous undertaking to
completely change the format of the restaurant creating Alexander's, in
honor of their parents, Alexander and Constance, who founded the original
luncheonette. It is with a deep sense of pride in our parents that we
welcome you to Alexander's to enjoy the finest quality of fresh seafood
and meats in the greater Ambridge area. We are happy to serve you.
